Nigeria Dangote Refinery Phase II 10,000 person Camp Project

The camp is expected to accommodate 40,000 people. Chengdong provided the construction and comprehensive facilities for this project, integrating living quarters, offices, a hospital, and other ancillary functions, including water, electricity, ceilings, flooring, fire protection, furniture, appliances, bathroom fixtures, communications, and cabinets. The total building area of the camp is 280,000 square meters, comprising approximately 1,000 buildings.

Based on client requirements, this camp was projected to accommodate 40,000 people. Chengdong provided the construction and comprehensive supporting facilities for this project, integrating living quarters, offices, a hospital, and other ancillary functions for 40,000 people, including water, electricity, ceilings, flooring, fire protection, furniture, appliances, bathroom fixtures, communications, and cabinets. The project had a tight schedule and heavy workload. To ensure successful delivery, the entire Chengdong company worked tirelessly, putting in extra hours to complete the delivery of all housing units. This achievement earned high praise from the client and became a milestone project for Chengdong, recorded in the company's history.

Project Introduction:
The main housing type in this project is an accommodation camp, which placed high demands on the corrosion resistance, wind resistance, airtightness, fire resistance, safety, and ease of installation of the housing units.

The hospital utilizes a self-developed new ZA ward frame system, featuring a complete and reliable supporting structure with strong weather resistance. The structure undergoes hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including maritime and tropical rainforest climates. For sealing, the structural frame is housed within the walls and roof, resulting in seamless joints and excellent sealing performance. Standard components are bolted together, eliminating the need for painting, preventing pollution, and requiring no on-site welding, thus avoiding excessive reliance on manual labor and machinery.
